City Champs! Great ending to an amazing season. I thought I would show you some footage of me playing, since I have mentioned volleyball a couple of times in some of my videos. We were lucky to have our game play on local television.. pretty sweet! As some of you may know, I quit speed skating last summer to pursue volleyball instead. I still do not have any regrets whatsoever. The past few months have been incredibly difficult (between training over 21 hours a week, school, and trying to juggle everything else in between), but every time I watch this video, it reassures me that all the hard work is paying off Again, amazing season. Special thanks to my girls, who have taught me so much. We have gone through so much together in only a few short months. We proved that we were capable of doing great things, even when people didn’t think we could. This was definitely my most memorable school volleyball season yet. Also, kudos to Frank, for none of our accomplishments would have been possible without him. He is the most dedicated person I know, and I cannot thank him enough for everything that he has done to bring out the team’s full potential.
