***Like us on Facebook www.facebook.com **** High school basketball coach bites off rival’s ear after his team lost A boys basketball coach at a US school turned himself in to police after allegedly biting off part of another coach’s ear after losing a game. Timothy Lee Forbes, 34, fled the scene after the incident at Holy Name School in Springfield, Massuchusetts. When Forbes’ team lost the championship game, police said, he attacked the winning team’s coach and bit off part of his ear. People at the game pulled Forbes off the coach, and Forbes ran out of the gym before police arrived. The victim, a 34-year-old man, was rushed to hospital in an ambulance to have his ear reattached. He has been released. Forbes was arrested and charged with assault and battery and mayhem.
