Jaylon Tate: #3 6’2 PG (Simeon High School Class of 2013) lights it up in 2 wins for Meanstreets 16U (Chicago) at Baylor Youth’s D1-Elite Tournament at York High School (Elmhurst, IL) near Chicago on July 9, 2011. More than 150 college coaches attended this event and Jaylon Tate was on everyone’s radar. This was Tate’s first Chicago tournament since announcing his transfer from De La Salle to Simeon for the fall 2011 school year. Jaylon Tate is considered one of the top 10 high school basketball players in Illinois’ heralded class of 2013. Nationally, he’s considered one of the top 100 players in the Class of 2013 (and rising). His college plans are undecided. Thanks to everyone at Baylor Youth Foundation and York HS.
