Ty Video heads to the Tri-Metro Conference, Western Division for a classic rivalry between two private Minneapolis schools: DeLaSalle and Minnehaha Academy. Mike Peden and former NBA player Ben Coleman have the call DeLaSalle’s looking to move up from their #3 spot in class AAA while Minnehaha Academy seeks respect after a strong performance with a tough schedule. Minnehaha Academy was eliminated in the state quarterfinals in class AA, while DeLaSalle settled for a 4th place finish in the class AAA state tournament. When i was in high school… im sure they still do this… but the boys Carson Varsity volleyball team would start every game with this. grew to love it!!

Mike Peden wraps up the 2009-2010 regular season of high school basketball coverage with the 2010 boys Twin Cities championship game. Minneapolis City Confernece champion Minneapolis North last played in the Twin Cities game back in 2006, while St. Paul City Conference champion Johnson looks for its final tune-up before starting playoff contention. This is the first time in school history for Johnson entering this game undefeated (25-0). North would get knocked out in the 1st round of the playoffs, while Johnson would finish as the only undefeated team in the state, winning a thriller over Grand Rapids in the AAA state tournament.
