Well I’m a native Texan so to some I might be biased, but in all honesty, I’ve been forced to travel all over the world because of my job, and because I am a Texan, I LOVE football. Yes female Texans have it bad too. Anyway, I’ve been to high school football games – well football games in general outside of TX, and let me tell yal, I really didn’t realize how crazy Texans are when it comes to football and cheerleading compared to other parts of the country. No place has come close. It’s scary.

im from texas 1-5A we had some players come in from california saying they went both ways (offense/defense starting) and said they hope they can help the team out but they just end up 3rd stringers

What are you talking about? I’ve been stationed in Fort Hood, Texas, since I’ve joined the Army in 2001. Texas is a very diverse State. Any part that you go, you’ll find people from very diverse background. Texas has a lot of caucasian, african-american, hispanic, asian etc. Houston’s job market attract a lot of asian, hispanic, and west african immigrants. Schools like UT, Rice, and Baylor also attract a large number of international students.
