I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHTS TO THIS VIDEO! We’ve all seen soccer or hockey players accidentally score an own goal, usually on a fluke deflection or errant clearing pass. My boyfriend’s coach, teammates, and the camera man witnessed it. He bought the highlights for five bucks so he could show me the hit. But the camera man didn’t get any of the footage. So he never got the credit, only at the game he did.

The Cobras actually ended up winning the game. Their jersey colors have nothing to do with it. I’m pretty sure he knew before the punt return began that his team was on the receiving end. What they didn’t show was why he tackled his own player. My boyfriend told me all about it. He’s number 8, on the right side of the video near the end. He tackled that guy who was twice, maybe a little more his size so hard that he got up dazed and tackled his own player. It was the talk of the night.
