@montez0613 Sorry Carter has a rich histroy of DB’s and Rb’s they didnt make the cut. coco was close though.

Carter was the better team of the two, the game itself proved that. If they were better they would have won…who cares who the running back was and etc. it is a team game the second string back is second for a reason, the coach had confidence in him to play if starter gets hurt. Rain, sleet or snow, the game ended with Carter as winners and they win state the following game, if Converse was better they would have won, but they did not. Bottom line

I agree, if your gonna bash my team than at least put the actual numbers of the players on there, and hey, what was the result of that state finals game brother? 1-0 converse judson? You guys really need to get over a lucky game in 1988.

fame415, What I mean is that Comer’s 40 yd touchdown run would not have happened if Boobie was running the ball. He was not capable of making that play like Comer. Comer kept us in the game with that play.
