Regardless of your opinions on class basketball (mostly of which I agree with) this was an amazing shot. Celebrate the moment, not the event.

Guys – Basketball ended in Indiana in 1997. There was no State Champion crowned in this game. Class basketball has ruined the sport, and this game did not matter. No state champ – sorry.

this was the year after I graduated but I came down from college for the game…second row at midcourt. This was the best sports spectating moment of my life. Plymouth played really well and with a lot of heart, so you’ve got to give them a lot of credit. But wow I’m glad the Hatchets won!!

I was in 8th grade there that year.
I have his autograph somewhere lol.

My dad went to Washington and was ticked because plymouth made a scoop layup for the lead in OT and wanted to leave but I was young and believed in miracles, I said Luke Zeller was going to make a half court shot for the win, haha he was the only player i knew haha

I was there it was insane

Luke also has another brother Cody, who is going to be a junior next year at Washington, Indiana. He must feel a lot of pressure because both his brothers led the Hatchets to the Indiana high school state title.

yeah i went to lincoln too, my mom works with the zeller’s dad. luke was a class act. tyler is too skinny…he’s got no future unless he adds some muscle. he just dominated in high school cuz he was six inches taller than anyone else.
