Sikeston, Missouri native and America’s Got Talent winner sang the national anthem for the high school basketball game between Sikeston and Scott County Central held at the Show-Me Center Feb. 11, 2009.

He came back to Sikeston as a way to say thank you to his family and friends. As a Southeast Missouri native myself, I’m proud that he is still humble and gracious enough to do these types of events even though he’s become so popular. Well done Neil.

What an honor for the SCHOOL! This kid was ridiculed in the beginning and now look at how is is recieved… and WELL DESERVED !!!!
