this is truly special to see his classmates show so much enthusiasm for him. when i was in school he would have never been given a chance. we’ve came a long way. good job coach!

@HonorableMinisterRay No sins could have been committed. Just cause J Mac has autism, it doesn’t neccesarily mean it was because his parents sinned. Those with disabilities have them so that the glory of God can be shown through them. Isn’t J Mac a great inspiration to us all? Is he not successful now? The man born with no limbs, he graduated with a masters at university. Perhaps God’s purpose for him was to inspire others and save them from giving up on themselves :) (John 9:1-7)

What kind of sin could have been committed to be punished with an autistic child? The sins of the Father are passed upon the children.

Biggest coaching mistake ever… he only played him 4 minutes. Coach should have played him the whole season!!!

Aspergers is a cop-out — don’t believe what they’re telling you. It’s a replacement for the controversial ADHD. Watch, the FDA will approve some insanely expensive pill (probably from Pfizer) with purported claims of helping or even curing aspergers, but in the end, it will do nothing but give you horrible side effects. Eventually, when you’re older you’ll wonder if there was ever anything really wrong with you to begin with.

JONNI…your a moron and lifeless person not to feal inspired by this story. They didnt defend him huh?Maybe maybe not…but i bet you caint shoot 6-8 3pointers with just your dumb ass all alone in any gym in the world, much less on the court with other players and the crowd…you need to jump off a cliff NOW..cause your contribution to society will be a hinderance!!

All I can say is….such an inspiring, beautiful story.
Shooting for hours and hours alone in the gym, selflessly helping his team in any way he can and pushing himself every day for just one shot.
Jason is a reminder for me to not take for granted the opportunities I have been given, and to push myself to reach those goals as much as he does for his. Thank you Jason, your story really does inspire me to do better.

Wow, the people who are disagreeing with how amazing this story is are SO FUCKING DUMB. I mean, did you get any sort of education? It’s not his fucking skill level that got him on tv YOU IDIOTS! It’s his story! Jesus, I actually didn’t know people could be so damn dumb.

What a bunch of sheeple, the coaches had an agreement that they wouldn’t defend this little douche, his disability is exaggerated, no one even tried to defend him, they just wanted this douche to feel good about himself. Now this idiot walks around like he is some kind of major celebrity and all he did was shoot some baskets undefended (not fair competition) if anyone tried to defend him he wouldn’t have scored shit.
